The Kids Heart Challenge is underway at PGS with some exciting incentives! If half of our students register online to take a challenge, PE gets $300 for new equipment. (Need 30-40 more registered to get to 50%) Plus, we have some added in-school bonuses for fundraising.

Today 2nd grade investigated chocolate! We discussed Milton Hershey and learned more about his life. We watched how cacao beans are turned into chocolate and even participated in a taste testing! Our favorite fact... chocolate bars have approximately 8 insect body parts!

Don’t forget Friday night the 5th-8th graders are invited to attend a Valentine’s Day Dance at PGS from 6-9pm! ONLY PGS STUDENTS ARE PERMITTED TO ATTEND!!! There is a $2 admission fee and concessions will be available!! Students may choose to leave the dance at anytime, but they will not be allowed to return to the dance! We also ask that students refrain from wearing athletic wear to the dance! Jeans are perfectly acceptable!! Happy Valentines Day!! ❤️💃🕺
