The parent response rate is 13% for the 2021 Illinois Parent Survey. As a reminder, schools need 20% of their parents to respond in order to receive a report. Also note a school must have a minimum of 8 responding parents in order to receive a report.

3rd Grade transformed into a Bakery today! Mrs. Rogers dressed as a baker and served chocolate chip cookies to her students. It was the kick-off to learning fractions and students quickly understood that the bigger the denominator - the smaller the piece! 🍪

According to IDPH and IESA guidelines, Potomac Grade School does not fall into the category of safely allowing spectators to attend our home sporting events. Also at the present time, no schools that we will be traveling to are allowing spectators from the visiting team.
Blood Drive - February 22
Due to hazardous road conditions, school will be closed today!! Students will not have remote learning activities. Stay safe!
7th Graders practicing their marching skills just like the Continental Army did with Baron Von Steuben of Germany during the American Revolution!!
3rd Grade completed a science experiment to see what would happen if gummy bears were added to 4 different liquids. Students tested their hypotheses by letting the gummy bears sit in liquids overnight and observed/measured when they came into the classroom this morning! Many students thought they would dissolve but found that the gummy bears grew when added to a liquid. #scienceisfun #growyourownpolarbear
5...6...Pick up sticks!! The 7th grade took advantage of the nice day to help clean up around the trees!!
