3rd Grade completed a science experiment to see what would happen if gummy bears were added to 4 different liquids. Students tested their hypotheses by letting the gummy bears sit in liquids overnight and observed/measured when they came into the classroom this morning! Many students thought they would dissolve but found that the gummy bears grew when added to a liquid. #scienceisfun #growyourownpolarbear
5...6...Pick up sticks!! The 7th grade took advantage of the nice day to help clean up around the trees!!
Pre-k read a book about snow balls, at the end of the book the boy snuck a snow ball in for later and placed it in the freezer. So we had a discussion about what would happen if we put a snowball in the fridge and in the freezer. We discussed what would happen and made a prediction. Then today we looked at the outcome and talked about what needs to go in the fridge and what belongs in the freezer.
