Our softball team won their first game of regionals against St. Malachy, 8-1! They will be playing for the regional championship Tuesday!

The unicorn hat has made its way back to first grade this year! First grade is rocking doing guided reading groups and taking charge in their math centers! Way to go first grade!





Kindergarten learned new centers today for our RtI time! So many routines to learn at the beginning of kindergarten! They are rocking it!

As a result of this blood drive alone, up to 78 lives will be saved/extended right here in our own backyard, and that is something to be proud of.
As a result of this effort, PGS received another Life Savings Grant in the amount of $256.
The next drive for Potomac Grade School is Monday, February 14, 2022.


Learning, laughter, and friendships all were accomplished this first week of kindergarten!




Pre-k made it through their first week of school. They learned a few a school rules, made new friends, and got to explore parts of their classroom.





First grade worked really hard during their first week of school and enjoyed making their caterpillars grow in science today!!


The baseball game for today in Gifford has been cancelled. There is also no softball or baseball practice!


The gym was full of bears, frogs, kangaroos, crabs and elephants today!
